None of the three is in the Visa Waiver Program, so ESTA is not available. A visitor visa is needed.

How to Choose
- Need Schengen access you can rely on: a Schengen residence permit is not exposed to the EU visa suspension that applies to nationalities. Argentina is the passport to watch, because it has no EU deadline.
- Want a passport and no relocation: Argentina announced no residence requirement. The Caribbean passports are available today, with the 2028 EU deadline as the main risk.
- Want a real estate backed passport: Turkey from USD 400,000 has no residence requirement and no EU deadline, but it needs a Schengen visa and enforcement is strict.
- Need US travel: no investment passport gives ESTA. A US visa is still required.
- Check dual citizenship first: some countries, such as India, do not allow it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get a second passport without living in the country?
Some programmes allow it. Argentina has announced citizenship by investment with no residence requirement, but applications are not open yet. St Kitts and Nevis has no confirmed residence requirement today, Grenada has deferred a 30 day presence rule, Antigua and Barbuda needs 5 days in the country to renew its passport and Saint Lucia has no presence rule today. The EU has asked all four Caribbean programmes to close by 1 June 2028.
Does a second passport give visa free access to the Schengen Area?
It depends on the passport. Argentine, St Kitts and Nevis, Grenadian, Antigua and Barbuda and Saint Lucian passports give visa free Schengen entry for up to 90 days in any 180 days today, but the EU can change that for the Caribbean passports. Visa free access is not the same as a right to live or work in the Schengen Area.
Does a Turkish passport give Schengen visa free access?
No. A Turkish passport needs a visa for the Schengen Area, the UK, the USA, Canada and the UAE. Turkish citizenship by investment starts at USD 400,000 in property. Read our Turkey guide before you decide.
Which second passport is best for Schengen visa free access?
Argentina is the only one of the five with no EU closure deadline, but its programme is not open yet. St Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda and Saint Lucia are open now and carry the 2028 EU risk. Read each guide before you decide.
Does a second passport give access to the United States?
No. None of these passports gives ESTA, so a US visitor visa is still required. Grenada has an E-2 investor treaty with the US, but E-2 needs a separate qualifying investment.
Can I keep my current citizenship?
Argentina, St Kitts and Nevis and Grenada allow dual citizenship. Your home country may not, so check its rules before applying.
Is Visa Doctor licensed to handle citizenship by investment applications?
Visa Doctor FZC holds a UAE trade licence (4417571.01) that covers immigration services. We are not a government authorised agent for any programme. Where a government requires an authorised agent, we prepare and manage your file and the application is filed through an authorised agent. We give our fee in writing before you pay anything.
