Frequently asked questions
Sometimes, and it is worth knowing where. A valid UAE residence permit gets many nationalities into Georgia visa-free and unlocks eVisa or on-arrival entry to places like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Jordan and Egypt. What it does not do is override your nationality for the big three, Schengen, the UK and the US still assess you on your passport, not your residency.
More than most people realise. A valid (sometimes even used) US, UK or Schengen visa can get you into Serbia, Albania, Mexico, Bulgaria, Romania, Montenegro and North Macedonia without a separate application, and it makes you eligible for the Turkish e-Visa. This is one of the most under-used travel advantages UAE residents have.
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Entry rules change frequently and often quietly. We deliberately default to “visa required” or “check with us” wherever we are not confident, because the dangerous error is telling you that you do not need a visa when you do, that is how people get turned away at check-in. Treat this as a starting point and confirm before you book.
Very rarely. The UAE passport is one of the strongest in the world, with visa-free or on-arrival access to the large majority of destinations, including the entire Schengen Area. The main exceptions are the United States, Canada and Australia, which still require an application, and the UK, which now requires an ETA.
Because the rule genuinely depends on your circumstances, your profession, your travel history, the airport you transit, or a conditional rule we would rather verify than guess at. Send us a WhatsApp with your nationality and destination and we will give you a straight answer, usually within the hour, whether or not you end up booking with us.
