Estimate only, for guidance. Government fees are official 2026 rates; application-centre and insurance costs vary by provider and are shown as typical ranges. This tool does not include Visa Doctor’s documentation service fee — contact us for a quote. We are a private documentation agency and do not issue visas.

How much does a visa cost from the UAE in 2026?

For UAE residents, the price on the embassy website is rarely the full price. The real, all-in cost of a visa combines the government/embassy fee, the application-centre service charge (VFS Global, BLS or TLScontact), and, for some destinations, mandatory travel insurance. Use the calculator above for a quick estimate, or see the 2026 reference table below.

Why the “real” cost is higher than the visa fee

Take the Schengen visa: the fee held at €90 in 2026, but once you add the application-centre service charge and the mandatory €30,000 travel medical insurance, most UAE applicants pay €150–€250 per adult. Optional extras — premium lounges, courier return, prime-time appointments — push it higher. The UK Standard Visitor visa rose to £135 from 8 April 2026.

The bigger cost is often time, not money

Across UAE applications, the recurring bottleneck in 2026 is appointment scarcity, especially for Schengen and US visas from Dubai. Starting your documentation and appointment search 4–12 weeks before travel is the single best way to avoid paying for a rushed, priority appointment.

Frequently asked questions

Does this include Visa Doctor’s service fee? No. The calculator shows official third-party costs (government, application centre, insurance). Our documentation and consultation fee is separate — contact us for a quote.

Are these amounts guaranteed? Government fees are official 2026 rates, but application-centre and insurance prices vary by provider and cover level, so we show typical ranges. Always confirm current fees at the time of applying.

Do Emirati citizens need these visas? Emirati passport holders are visa-exempt for the Schengen Area and many destinations (and will use ETIAS from Q4 2026). UAE residents on other passports still need visas — which is exactly who this tool is for.
