**Quick answer:** UAE applicants use two linked sites: ustraveldocs.com/ae for information and usvisascheduling.com to sign in. For a forgotten password, select “Reset Password” on usvisascheduling.com and enter the code sent to your registered email. For forgotten security questions, email support-uae@usvisascheduling.com with a new, unused email address and a passport copy, then allow 2 business days. Never open a second profile and never pay the fee twice.

Most problems with a UAE US visa appointment account can be fixed inside the profile you already have, without opening a new one. Passwords are reset with a code sent to your registered email, forgotten security answers are handled by the support centre through an email change, and passport or name details are corrected through Feedback/Requests or Information Correction on your Visa Application Home page.

## Key facts

- **Websites:** ustraveldocs.com/ae is the UAE information site, and its Visa Login link opens usvisascheduling.com. The UAE does not use ais.usvisa-info.com.

- **Platform change:** profiles created before 30 May 2025 are reclaimed by signing up again with the same email address.

- **Support email:** support-uae@usvisascheduling.com

- **Phone, as published:** +971 4 205 5981 from the UAE, +1 313 262 5702 from the United States.

- **Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. UAE time, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during Ramadan.

- **Security question reset:** allow 2 business days.

- **Visa fee for B1/B2 and F1/F2:** USD 185, non-refundable.

Visa Doctor is a private agency. We are not affiliated with the US government, the US Embassy, ustraveldocs.com or usvisascheduling.com. The official addresses are ustraveldocs.com/ae, usvisascheduling.com, ceac.state.gov for the DS-160 and ae.usembassy.gov for embassy news.

## What are ustraveldocs.com/ae and usvisascheduling.com?

They are two halves of one system. ustraveldocs.com/ae explains the steps and carries the fees, FAQ and contact details for the UAE. Its Visa Login link sends you to usvisascheduling.com, where you sign in and reach your Visa Application Home page.

Neither site ends in .gov. That is normal here: the embassy’s visa page at ae.usembassy.gov links to ustraveldocs.com for appointment information. Type the exact addresses yourself rather than clicking links in adverts or messages.

## What changed in May 2025, and why does the email address matter?

The UAE moved to the current platform on about 30 May 2025. The ustraveldocs.com/ae FAQ warns: “If you already created a profile on www.ustraveldocs.com before May 30, 2025, DO NOT create another profile before reading this. You may lose the receipt and/or appointment associated to your original profile.”

The fix is to click “Sign up now” and “Enter the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS as your previous profile.” Done correctly, the FAQ says “you will reclaim the profile you created before May 30, 2025, with any valid receipts and/or future appointments.” A different email loses them, which is how many people end up with two profiles.

## How do I reset a forgotten usvisascheduling password?

- Go to usvisascheduling.com and select “Reset Password”.

- Enter your username and email, then select “Send Verification Code”. The email “must match the email address you used when you began your visa application.”

- Enter the code, select “Verify Code” and set a new password.

The message comes from msonlineservicesteam@microsoftonline.com, so check spam. The UAE instruction sheet adds that if you forget your username, “you can use your e-mail address on both fields”, and that changing your email during the reset “is not suggested.”

## What if I forgot my US visa security questions?

You cannot reset them yourself. The FAQ says: “Please email the call center with a new email address that has not been previously submitted or associated with any other profile on this website so that we can update your profile.” Attach a copy of your passport. The UAE instruction sheet then sets out the steps:

- Email support-uae@usvisascheduling.com, or call, with your issue and the new email address.

- Allow 2 business days for the change, then contact the helpline to confirm it.

- Go to usvisascheduling.com and use SIGN UP with the new email address.

Do not sign up until the change is confirmed, or you risk a second, empty profile. If you have lost access to your registered email, no FAQ covers that case directly. The only published route is this same email change, so check with the support centre.

## Why is my account locked, or why do I see an “Access limitation” message?

The terms say: “The number of login attempts permitted per user each day is limited. Exceeding the limit may result in a temporary account suspension.” Suspensions are automatic and “may be removed after a temporary access restriction period.”

The “Access limitation” warning is linked in the FAQ to “browser plug-ins and/or extensions designed for robotic automation”. Its advice is to “remove any automation tools installed on your device or browser and then try again after waiting at least 24 hours.” The terms forbid access “through automated means, including bots, crawlers, or scripts”, so do not use slot checkers or auto refresh tools.

## What does “profile already exists” mean, and how do duplicate profiles happen?

Each applicant needs “a working email address that has not been used previously in our system.” If the system says a profile already exists, you almost certainly have one from an earlier application or from before May 2025.

No merge option is published. For groups, the FAQ says: “If the applicant already has an existing profile, please select the ‘Add Applicant by UID’ option.” The support centre can also find a profile by passport number, UID or email.

- Never create a second profile to get around an error.

- Never pay the fee twice. The site warns: “DO NOT PAY THE FEE A SECOND TIME AS IT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.”

- If you already have two profiles, contact the support centre before you pay or book anything else.

## How do I update my passport number or name on the profile?

The FAQ says to select “Feedback/Requests” on the Visa Application Home page if you can access your profile, or “Information Correction” if that is the only option shown, where “you will be prompted to update the information in your profile.” If you cannot log in, email support-UAE@usvisascheduling.com.

A new passport usually affects your DS-160 too, because the form must show your travel passport. See our guide to [changing the DS-160 confirmation number on your appointment](/change-ds-160-confirmation-number-us-visa-appointment-uae/). If your old passport holds a valid US visa, read [whether a visa in an old passport is still valid](/us-visa-old-passport-valid-transfer/).

### US visa name change after marriage

The FAQ says: “If your name has legally changed through marriage, divorce, or a court ordered name change, you will need to obtain a new passport. Once you have a new passport, the Department of State recommends that you apply for a new U.S. visa to make it easier for you to travel to and from the United States.”

No page says exactly how a name is edited on the profile. The likely route is Information Correction or Feedback/Requests, but check in your account or with the support centre. Do not open a new profile for the new name.

## What will the call centre do, and what will it not do?

On the published pages, the support centre changes the profile email when security answers are forgotten, looks up profiles, takes requests to correct a DS-160 barcode, and receives emails about earlier appointments or a visa printed with wrong data.

It will not help with the application itself. The terms say: “Call center agents cannot provide assistance with completing the DS-160/260 application forms. They also cannot advise applicants on the visa class they should apply for, nor identify specific documents the applicant should present during the interview.”

## How does Visa Doctor help with account and profile problems?

We help B1/B2 visitor and F1/F2 student applicants and their families in the UAE with:

- US visa appointment account recovery;

- changing or updating the passport number on the appointment profile;

- DS-160 linking, meaning updating the DS-160 confirmation number on the booking;

- name changes on the account;

- interview city changes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and moves to another country;

- DS-160 updates when your details change.

We prepare the request and documents and tell you honestly which route applies. We cannot promise how the support centre will respond or how long it will take. Keep your own email and passwords, and share account access only with a licensed provider you trust. For appointment searches, our terms are appointments in 7 working days, agreed in writing, fee refunded if missed. For moves between cities or countries, see [changing the US visa interview location](/change-us-visa-interview-location-dubai-abu-dhabi-country/), and for new dates read [how to reschedule in Dubai or Abu Dhabi](/us-visa-appointment-reschedule-dubai/).

## Notes for B1/B2 and F1/F2 applicants

- **B1/B2:** the fee “cannot be transferred to another applicant”, so one family member’s receipt cannot be used by another.

- **F1:** you need your SEVIS number and school details to schedule. The SEVIS ID “starts with the letter N and is followed by nine digits.” See our [F1 documents checklist](/f1-visa-documents-checklist-dubai/).

- **F2:** each dependant “must have their own working email addresses which have not been used previously in our system.” If a family member already has a profile, use “Add Applicant by UID”.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is ustraveldocs.com the right site for a US visa appointment in the UAE?

Yes. ustraveldocs.com/ae is the UAE information site that ae.usembassy.gov links to, and its Visa Login link opens usvisascheduling.com. Neither ends in .gov, so type the addresses yourself.

### How do I log in to usvisascheduling if I forgot my username?

The UAE instruction sheet says you can enter your email address in both fields on the password reset page. The code goes to your registered email.

### How long does a US visa security question reset take in the UAE?

Allow 2 business days after you email support-uae@usvisascheduling.com with a new, unused email address and a passport copy. Confirm with the helpline before you sign up with the new address.

### Can I create a new profile if my old account does not work?

No. The FAQ warns that you may lose the receipt and appointment linked to your original profile. Repair the existing profile, and contact the support centre if you are stuck.

### Can I change my name on my US visa appointment profile?

No page describes this exactly. The likely route is Information Correction or Feedback/Requests, so check in your account or with the support centre. A legal name change also needs a new passport.

### Can Visa Doctor log in to my account for me?

We can guide you while you log in yourself, so your email and password stay with you. If you share access, share it only with a licensed provider you trust and change your password afterwards.
